Your Mom Called. Do You Understand the Assignment?

Your mom called.

She said, "I gave you everything you needed me to give you. Every button I've pushed in you, every time you thought I failed as a mother, especially the times you thought I failed. But I've played my role as your mother perfectly. I did it for you, and you have been exactly what I needed you to be. I know it can be hard to accept, because you may have wanted something other than what you got, but I assure you, I gave you what you needed me to give you. I gave you what you needed me to give you. I gave you what you needed me to give you."

Go ahead and insert every person in your entire life into this scenario.

If every one of them called and left you a message, this is what it would be.

How does it feel? Are you nodding your head in affirmation because you know on a soul level that it's the truth, and you've worked through it to squeeze what you needed to squeeze from this relationship dynamic?

Maybe you're working your hand around that lemon to squeeze it still, but you're at least willing to, because being resentful has lost its appeal.

But where you feel resistance to this being true is where you haven't understood the assignment.

You dropped into a human experience where every other human is a funhouse mirror reflecting you back to yourself in ways that will invite you to grow into a new version of yourself.

You came here to evolve, and you don't evolve by staying in the same patterns that were established in (insert the year you were born here).

You're an evolutionary being here to forget, sink deep in the assignment, and begin to awaken and remember. This is evolution, and it happens only when we're willing to change who we've been patterned to be and become something so much more extraordinary that it blows our puny little human minds.

Have you understood the assignment?

I used to say to my cohorts of Soul Forward Method, "I'm down here on contract, guys." I knew my soul was down here on a dang mission. I was no longer living from my human mind but from my soul come forward.

I'm quite literally here on contract, with your soul, to help your human understand the assignment so we can get healed and heal humanity in the process.

Waiting for humanity to change without being a willing participant is ridiculous. The same goes for waiting for your mom, or dad, or ex-husband, or the mean girls in middle school, or the boyfriend who cheated on you in college, to do their work and come apologizing to you. That's continuing to sit in a classroom you were always meant to leave once you nailed the assignment.

Where are you still waiting for someone to come say they're sorry or own what they did, when in reality they've given you, and are still giving you, exactly what you need them to give you?

It's time to wake up to your assignment.

This is what happens in Soul Forward Method. You heal what you haven't been able to heal with modalities created by humans who didn't understand the assignment. You heal what the spiritual teachers couldn't reach within the 3D human.

We heal in here in ways that change the world because we're turning in the assignment.

It's for those who have tried everything else and still don't feel harmony with the story they've been living out.
